Surah Al-Ikhlas

Surah Al-Ikhlas ("Sincerity") is chapter 112 of the Quran — a Meccan surah of 4 ayahs. It sits in juz 30 on page 604 of the Mushaf.

بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

قُلْ هُوَ ٱللَّهُ أَحَدٌ﴿١

Qul huwal laahu ahad

Say, "He is Allah, [who is] One,

ٱللَّهُ ٱلصَّمَدُ﴿٢

Allah hus-samad

Allah, the Eternal Refuge.

لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ﴿٣

Lam yalid wa lam yoolad

He neither begets nor is born,

وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌۢ﴿٤

Wa lam yakul-lahu kufuwan ahad

Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
